Summers at Camp Webster

Camp Webster, located in Ashford, Connecticut is where Troop 13 spends one week during the summer. Together we work on Merit Badges, have fun swimming and boating, camp activities and enjoy the outdoors.

Dates: July 17-22, 2016. We have site 5B which is located near the center of camp.

Registration Forms: Please fill out the registration form noted below and submit to Kathy Beaulieu by May 1, 2016.

Medical Forms: The only medical form accepted is the CRC 2016 Boys Scouts of America Medical Form.  The new medical form, Medication Administration Form and Allergy Form are note below. All medical forms are due to Kathy Beaulieu by June 1, 2016. If your son’s forms will be later than June 1, 2016, please let Kathy know the details. Do not wait on medical forms to submit registration form & payment.

Fees: Total Fee is $405.00 - payment is due by May 1, 2016 - After May 1, 2016 the cost increases to $430.00. Please make all checks payable to “Troop 13” - Credit Cards can be processed by filling out information on registration form and submitting to Kathy Beaulieu.

Special Fee for Scouts going to Philmont: Scouts attending Philmont this summer can attend summer camp for a special fee of $305.00; summer camp will be considered a second week and given the $100.00 discount.

Financial Assistance: If you are applying for financial assistance please submit the Troop 13 Registration Form to Kathy and let her know you have submitted a campership application.  All information is held confidential. There are a limited amount of camperships available from CT Rivers Council BSA.  Camperships are rarely over 50% of camp fees. Connecticut Rivers Council will require a copy of the front page of a family’s most recent Form 1040 in addition to the campership application. This practice is consistent with other major institutions providing camperships, allows the council to make an informed, needs-based decision, and improve our ability to support those Scouts who truly need assistance. Parents Meeting: A very important parents meeting will be held at 7:00 PM - Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Scout Shack at which time payments for the Friday Night BBQ and Troop camp photos will be due.

Gear Drop Off: 9:00-9:30 am – Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Scout Shack.

Family BBQ & Closing Campfire: All parents are invited & encouraged to come to camp on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 6:00 PM for a Chicken BBQ dinner and the closing awards campfire that all the scouts put on at 7:45 PM.  After the campfire your son can head home with you. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 12. Scouts & Leaders at camp do not need tickets.
